Mabel & Rupert

CHRISTCHURCH - Bonded pair; Mabel (Netherland dwarf x Harlequin) & Rupert (Flemish Giant x Rex) Both 3 years and 7 months, Desexed, Vaccinated & Microchipped

Both buns are in good health and I have never had any issues with either of them about anything. 

They came to me two weeks apart when they were very young. I desexed them, and bonded them and they have been perfectly in love and in sync ever since. They are both healthy and love pats and nose rubs; Rupert especially. Neither of them particularly like being picked up, but they are friendly, particularly Rupert. Mabel can stand back until she knows you better, but she's a little sweetheart and will pop over to bump you for a nose rub within no time. They have been loved and cared for their whole life, so have no insecurities or behavioural issues. 

They are indoors at the moment as their outdoor enclosure was flooded. They have been outdoors most of their life: only being indoors while their enclosure was built, while bonding, and if the weather is very bad. Their outdoor, fully predator proof enclosure is 5metre x 4 metre which includes a playhouse and is fully covered from the rain, with half the enclosure being an outdoor run and half being enclosed and fully protected from the elements and filled with hidey holes, tunnels, blankets, rugs, toys and all the stuff the buns need. So they could be outside or inside buns quite easily. Although, I really do think they prefer being outside. It's lovely having them inside too and they are so adaptable. As long as they have lots of space and enrichment and have each other, they will continue to thrive. 

I am located in Little River, Canterbury. I can travel to Christchurch to check out people's setups. And even further afield for the right home.
