Mila

AUCKLAND: Mila - Female Lop, est 1 year old, approx 2.5kgs. Desexed, vaccinated, and treated for parasites

Mila along with 5 other bunnies were dumped in a cardboard box at a local park, they were all in quite a sorry state, some requiring more extensive rehabilitation than others. You can read more about this at The Animal Sanctuary.

Mila is a super sweet, super chilled little lady which is amazing given her background. She loves to just sprawl out and soak up all life has to offer. She is by far the most laid back of the buns she was rescued with.

Mila loves to know exactly what's going on too, and will often come up for pats when she sees the humans. She is comfortable around the cats, chickens, and other rabbits (which she can see but is separated from). She does have her goofball moments too - will frequently host late night parties and leave the hoomans to clean up her mess 😅 . She really has the most lovely gentle nature, can be a bit aloof meeting new people but once she warms up she's your best friend. Her coat is predominantly black and has flecks of white throughout which adds to the magic of her charm.

Bunnies are social creatures (male + female DESEXED pairings are best) and are considered exotics at the vets (generally more expensive than cats or dogs). They need a diet of good quality hay, fresh grass, bunsafe weeds, and complete nutritional rabbit pellets, PLUS yearly vaccinations. Minimum space requirements are a run space of 2m x 3m in addition to a 1m -2m secure, sheltered/covered in sleeping area. Please note that successful bonding is a process that takes time, it is important not to rush things - there are plenty of excellent resources out there to guide you through this process, such as the Westley’s World Bonding guide.

Mila will only be going to a home that accepts and is willing to provide above requirements.

Miss Mila would love to find the perfect husbun and forever family, she's really worth her weight in gold and so deserves her own happy ending 🤗

Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have a lonely desexed and vaccinated male bunny that would like a laid back bunwife. I am willing to travel for the right fit.
