Goose

AUCKLAND - Goose; Male - Desexed 28/2/24, Est 6-8 months, small cross breed, Vaccinated with Filavac 21/2/24

Goose was found in Western Springs when he hopped right up to our group and allowed us to take him home. Since then, he has quickly adjusted to indoor life in the few weeks I have had him. He can be hesitant to meet new people at first, but once food is involved, Goose will become your best friend. Always seeking head pats and wanting to sit near you.

Goose is a big hay eater with constant access to timothy hay. He receives a small amount of pellets in the morning and greens at night. While it took him time to become comfortable with exploring new food, he is now open to eating a range of rabbit-safe weeds and grasses. Goose is getting used to free roaming and is very inquisitive.

Goose is litter-trained, with the occasional poops that will need to be spot-cleaned. As any rabbit would, Goose tends to get startled by other animals and quick movements. However, he recovers quickly around people he feels comfortable with. Overall, he is a healthy rabbit looking for an indoor home (However, I would potentially be open to outdoor homes if the home is right).

Unfortunately, Goose does not come with any housing. However, items that will go with him are:

- All remaining hay and pellets upon adoption

- Enrichment ball - He loves the challenge of getting pellets out of this

- Litter Tray
