Wanda

AUCKLAND: Wanda, Female Minilop, Desexed 26th October 2022, Dob: 14th May 2022 (almost 2), Vaccinated 5th August 2023 with Filavac

Wanda is quite an active girl who loves a good run and a jump around. She can be quite nosey and come to see what you are up to but she is not so keen on the love so you have to be patient and let her come to you. She loves her selective treats and a bit of kale now and then as well as devouring her weeds and rose petals but she is also a slow eater who likes to graze throughout the day. She will always prioritise a run over her morning meal.

She is an outdoor bun but doesn’t mind coming inside on wet and stormy days. She has previously been bonded to a male I previously had but he passed in late October 2023 and she has been by herself since. She took his passing incredibly well which made things a lot easier and less stressful on me. She is very patient with her mates (my boy loved getting frisky a couple of times a day despite also being neutered long before she came on the scene), but will happily trade that for a good groom as it saves herself a job. She isn’t much of a cuddler but if you insist, she will allow it eventually. She has no medical issues, only ever going to the vet for her vaccinations or when my boy got sick for support.

She is a very sweet natured girl who keeps herself clean and I am very sad to be giving her up however I have recently moved house and it will prove hard to move her from where she is and I do not want to get another bun at this stage, so for her sake, I am looking to re-home her. From how she has been since her mate passed, I think she would be okay being just her or with another mate again. She use to always love giving him a snuggle and when it came to bonding the two, they both took to each other so quickly, for what I thought could take weeks or months, once their little play dates started, it took days.

She will come definitely with any leftover food and treats that we still have at the time, a couple of bowls, a glass water bottle and her little toy bunny. I do have a couple of things like an omelet run and her wet weather hutch that I will need to sell but a price can be negotiated if you are to adopt Wanda. I am incredibly sad to be saying goodbye to her but I am sure there is another family out there that will be able to give her just as much love as I have over the past almost 2 years.
