Leo

AUCKLAND - Leo, 2.5 year old possible Mini lop x Angora. Neutered and microchipped (17th July 2023). Next vaccine due Jan 2026.

Leo is currently housed indoors. He is litterbox trained and currently lives with a female rabbit, but she is a bit too bolshy for his personality. He eats burgess excel rabbit pellets in the morning, a mixture of weeds and/or grass in the afternoon and of course, 24/7 access to hay.

His quirks are he eats incredibly slow and struggles to hold weight in his current situation, so would need to go to a home where he can be monitored while he eats his pellets. However, he is medically sound regarding his teeth and it's just a quirk of his (has been checked by a vet for this specifically, as well during his yearly check-ups). He would need to be with a similar sized female bun who isn't rambunctious as he is quite placid and would get pushed around easily.

He is extremely sweet and with the right home, he will come out of his shell. We would consider outside living, depending on the set up but he has been housed indoors for over a year now.

The reason I need to re home is due to his current living situation not working for him which is impacting his welfare and we want to do what's best for him.
