Sitters, Boarding and Groomers
Before you leave your rabbit with a sitter or have someone come in to care for them read the following, which tells you how to screen a sitter or boarding facility and prepare for being away from your rabbit: What to do if you need to be away.

ALL Bunny Sitting arrangements are strictly between the two parties involved.
GROOMERS - Please investigate the groomer’s experience and handling approach before using them, unless they are a groomer that I recommend. One important issue to be aware of and to ask about is whether they trance a rabbit to clip its undercarriage. This should NOT be done, EVER.
If you cannot find a suitable groomer to help you locally then my best recommendation is to review the Safe Handling and Grooming files to learn how to groom your rabbit yourself. The other option is to ask your vet clinic to assist you.

Indy Rose an experienced rabbit Vet Nurse and Jess - the other nurse, is very competent with rabbits and so caring too. Indy also does free weight & nutrition consults. There is no trancing. If dropped off for a groom there is one nurse holding & one nurse clipping. If it is a really severe case of matting or if the rabbit is seriously stressed bun is sedated with permission.
